   About our Preschool

​

Boolaroo Speers Point Community Kindergarten Incorporated is a not for profit, community based preschool. Our service is licensed for 40 children each day, ranging in ages from 3-6 years. We operate during NSW public school terms from 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Our teaching staff are fully trained, and committed to providing a high quality program for your child. We employ ten staff across the week with a variety of qualifications that exceed the expectations of the National Quality Standards and Regulations. All primary contact educators hold a current First Aid Certificate including qualifications in the management of asthma and anaphylaxis.

The National Quality Standards was released in 2012. Our service works in accordance with these regulations and standards to offer the highest quality.

 Fees

 

Start Strong Preschool Fee Relief (Affordable Preschool) Information:

 

The NSW Government is providing fee relief to families through the Start Strong Affordable Preschool initiative as part of the Early Years Commitment.

The Start Strong Early Childhood Government funding provides children aged 3 & 4 years two free days, total of 15 hours of Preschool during 2023. The daily fee is from 8:00am - 3:30pm however, we do offer extended hours from 3:30pm - 4:00pm at an extra charge. This fee relief can only be allocated to one early childhood education service.

* Please note that additional daily fees for 3 and 4 year olds vary * Please contact us for further information. 

Our service has a minimum two day attendance requirement to establish consistency and build to a rapport with the children and their families. 

 

There is a 'New enrolment/Special Occasion Levy' which includes the following:

* Preschool bag, shirt, hat and  'Welcome to Preschool' Social Story.

* Mother's and Father's Day craft.

* Easter eggs and craft.

* Christmas gifts and visit from Santa.

* Fun week concerts and shows.
